Chapter 4 Blog
Chapter 4
Chapter 4 was a very resourceful one in my opinion. It talks a lot about how building online relationships matter. While we do this, we must build trust with the people we decide to connect with on these platforms and continue to evolve our relationships with them. We need to be transparent learners and control our actions while we're online as well. The section I wanted to discuss with all of you today is the "Creating A Shared Vision" section on page 65 of our textbooks.
"The practice of shared vision involves the skills of unearthing shared 'pictures of the future' that foster genuine commitment and enrollment rather than compliance" (65). A shared vision in your learning communities is extremely important for those who hope to achieve similar goals in similar fields of study. For me, I want to have a shared vision with a group of people who reports or writes about professional sports. These visions help us find hope to move forward and tons of momentum to move beyond that hope to the work that will move us to our transformations into the people we would like to become. (65)
Let me know what you guys think about shared visions and how they apply to you! I'm excited to read what everyone wrote about for this blog.
